Ingredients
- Mutton ½ kg
- Onion 1 (chopped)
- Wheat grains 2 tbsp (soaked)
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- All spices 1 tbsp (whole)
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Tomato 2
- Green chili 4 (sliced)
- Fresh coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp
- Water as required
Cooking Directions
- Put fennel seeds and all spices in a muslin cloth and tie it in a bundle.
- Heat oil and fry onion in oil.
- Then add ginger garlic, salt, red chili, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin and the spice bundle in onion.
- Now cut tomatoes and add in spices mixture.
- The add meat and cook well.
- Add soaked wheat grains and a little water.
- When wheat grains and meat is tender then take out the spices bundle.
- Add yogurt and then add a little water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Finally add coriander leaves and green chilies.
- Serve hot with naan.
